How Can We Have Peace In The Middle East When We Can’t Even Debate With Civility And Reason?
I had to admit, though, that I laughed myself silly watching this clip from Al-Jazeera:
from peacefulmuslimah.wor posted with vodpod
Thank God we have the Doha Debates sponsored by the Qatar Foundation and BBC to show these lunatics how it should be done.
Whoa…sorta suspect that clip is a metaphor for something.

I’d say the guy on the right is a little bit angry. Wonder why?
Seriously, you shouldn’t put an Iranian and an Iraqi together in the same room. The deep scars are still there from the 80’s, as well as the illegal and very insulting manner in which they executed Saddam. I don’t like the tyrant, but they insulted every Muslim on earth by doing things the way they did. Such things make it impossible for civil debate. The war is still raging, remember.
Oh, i’m still laughing at that exchange. I thought an AK was gonna be pulled and some thug action was gonna take place.

Salaams Sis:
LOL!!!
Reminds me of some of the exchanges that I have witnessed between Arab sisters at the masjid
All the more worse when you can’t understand what they’re so upset about.

If anyone ever called me a “Californian Shoe” you can not imagine the smackdown that would ensue. I couldn’t bring myself to laugh but the nine year-old and the six-year old had some age appropriate choice words about the segment. Thank God they didn’t “ask they Muslim” as they often do when looking over my shoulder!

Haha
Here is the answer to the question whether Middle East will ever see peace.

I’m not surprised.
I am glad that the Iraqi man exposed the Iranian, though. Pretending to speak up for a country that you are trying to steal is not nice…
This is all about the sunni/shia divide.
We all need to go back to the deen of Allah (SWT) as He intended.

I’ve seen worse debates - I’m Cuban- hee hee.

My only question is, Are arabic viewers savy enough to understand that this is television and that serious debate was probably not the producer’s main objective. This exchange was entertaining and I couldn’t walk away from it. It was what it was designed to be.

OMG,
Where do you find these vids?
That was hilarious, but I’m sure I shouldn’t be laughing. My three year-old wants to know why they are fighting, what on earth do I say to that? Plus he wants to see it again.
I seriously thought there was going to be a punch-up. You get these in the Pakistani parliament every once in a blue moon.
Oh by the way, assalam-alaikam Sister PM.
