I am heading to the States on Sunday to spend a week with my family. From there I am taking my daughter’s family to the Yucatan Peninsula for a week of sun, spa, swimming, golf and sightseeing! We have booked at the Ritz-Carlton in Cancun and will make a couple of day excursions.
My son-in-law is a golfer and my grandson likes to keep him company and hit the close putts. That leaves the spa for us girls — my 4 year old granddaughter LOVES to have her nails painted!
For family outings 
in the Yucatan there is a water park and some great eco-parks, as well as the well-known Mayan sites. I have travelled around the Yucatan pretty extensively but this will be my grandchildren’s FIRST pyramids!
